enochiansigilsI need to start writing in this thing more, especially if I'm ever going to justify doing paid time of some kind for it. So here goes. I don't promise this is going to make any sense or actually be interesting.
I'm FINALLY getting back into the swing of my RP and muse stuff after the move. Am actually doing stuff at Fandom High today. Tomorrow, I start with my muses and prompt responses. Oh, and K-Mart's job post at Fandom, heh. Can't forget that.

ladiesbigbang here and scifibigbang on LJ. And my fic for the oc_bigbang on LJ. asdfjk, so much writing to potentially fail at. Also to potentially succeed at. But it's hitting me that if I fail, I'm failing big. But shadowcat and I DID get our Ladies rough draft in on time, so that's one bit of failing we didn't do. We'll get there.
My biggest worry is the oc_bigbang. 15K and the rough draft is due in... a little over a month. I don't know if I can do this. My au_bigbang fic had to be the same length and you know when most of that got written? The three nights before it was due. Holy fuck, never trying THAT one again. I'm writing smarter now, damn it.
Sold a bunch of stuff back to Half Price Books and got $150 for everything. I think the guy gave me more than I would've normally gotten because they kind of lost my storage tote o' crap in front of the buy counter for like half an hour and it took them only like five to figure out my offer. But I'm not complaining. I got a bunch of books out of the dollar clearance section, including three of the X-Files novels from the mid-90s. Got a Batman novel from the clearance section because a friend of mine's gotten me sucked into the fandom thanks to a private storyline RP we're doing. And then when I was lurking the buy counter to see if they'd done my offer -- before they went "O hai thar stuff we missed!" -- I found a copy of Naamah's Curse by Jacqueline Carey for $14.48! This made me full of glee as up until a couple days ago when I got a copy for my Sony Touch that had pages missing and cut off all weird, I didn't even realize it EXISTED, much less had been published.
And now I'm being lazy. Productivity fail, I has it.
