Sep. 28th, 2013 11:39 pmHad a seizure at work this morning, which was all kinds of fun. Only, y'know, not so much.
Spent four hours in the ER and came out of it with a doctor's note excusing me from work tomorrow and a recommendation to see a neurologist. We're going to call and make that appointment on Monday.
It was... incredibly surreal. I was sitting in the break room before work, checked my phone at 8:22, and next thing I knew it was 8:26.
Was actually pretty scary because I KNEW what was happening but couldn't really do anything about it. Thank God I don't have the type of seizures that involve shaking or twitching -- I just have the ones where you pass out or have altered consciousness or something like that.
